Real Valladolid Basketball and Caja Rural de Zamora have sealed their collaboration agreement and ratified a “union of souls and people”. In the press room of the Pisuerga Sports Center, Alejandro García Pellitero, Vice President of the Club, and Narciso Prieto, Director of Communication and Institutional Relations of the bank, presented the agreement and one of the blanquivioleta signings of the season: Alec Wintering.

In this way, the Blanquivioleta president opened the appearance and presented the agreement between both parties. “Caja Rural de Zamora is an increasingly Valladolid entity. It has been established in Valladolid for years, integrated into society, the economy and with a commitment to sport that is reflected in the agreements they are presenting. For us it is a satisfaction and a very positive news because they are committed to a close and familiar model, ”said Alejandro García Pellitero.

For his part, Narciso Prieto, extended his thanks and emphasized the role of Caja Rural de Zamora in Valladolid. “This agreement is very important because it expands the relationship we already had and reaffirms our commitment to Valladolid, a job that we have been doing for more than 13 years. We provide a financial and social service wherever we operate. Our message is clear with society and we believe in it. We are here, with Real Valladolid Baloncesto, because we are an entity with a soul and people and we care about the human part of this Club ”.

Beyond the agreement, Alejandro García Pellitero also updated the numbers of the Blanquivioleta subscriber campaign and spoke about’s decision to convert LEB Oro into paid content. “We hope to have a push this week since we continue to have space in the stands for more Real Valladolid Club de Fútbol subscribers to come. We are in 1350. The games will continue to be played on Friday nights except when there is a week-long day. The fact that the competition becomes paid is a jug of cold water and harmful to everyone, “concluded the blanquivioleta president.

Progressing day by day

The protagonist of the day, Alec Wintering, was also officially presented to the media and offered his sensations in the current preseason. “I am enjoying so far. I like the team, the coaching staff, my teammates and we are working every day, improving, progressing and preparing for the start of the regular league ”, the American point guard began.

The American also explained the reasons that led him to sign for UEMC Real Valladolid Baloncesto. “I came for the great history of the Club. I have played many times against this team and the teammates in the league had spoken highly of the institution to me. I have visited the city a couple of times and I liked it, I am enjoying it and it was an easy decision. I wanted to play in a place that would make me progress and I think this was a good option for all parties ”, explained Pucela’s ‘2’.

Finally, the American player appreciated the match of the Valladolid team in Oviedo and their individual performance. “We did not achieve the result we wanted, but as I said we are going day by day, improving things. We still have a lot of margin. We got off to a clumsy start and weren’t good defensively, but I think that together this week we will correct those aspects to be ready for the next game. Individually I was fine, but could have done more to make the team work. I don’t pay attention to individual statistics, but to the team winning, and in that sense I think I can do a better job. We are growing to reach our moment ”, he concluded.
