Unstoppable Navarro, Provides Spain With Direct Ticket To London 2012 Olympics
Juan Carlos Navarro, co-captain of Spain’s Men’s National Team top shooting helped Spain get an important difficult win during the semifinals against, Macedonia. Scoring a game high 35 points and shooting 5/9 from the 3pt line, Navarro scored 19pts in the 3rd quarter to make it impossible for Macedonia to stop. Pau Gasol chipped in with 17pts and Macedonia top scorer Bo McCaleb with 25pts.
Spain is classified to play in the 2012 London Olympic Games next summer. Sunday Spain will face either France or Russia in the Eurobasket Final.
