Valencia Basket announced this Monday that the American center Mike Tobey will not continue with the team next season after finishing the contract that united both parties and after not having presented the club, as confirmed by Efe, an offer to renew, despite the fact that since last summer he no longer occupies a place as a foreigner as he has a Slovenian passport.

Tobey will put an end to his second stage at the club. The interior arrived at Valencia in the final stretch of the 2016-17 campaign and, although it did not have much prominenceor, he was part of the squad that won the Endesa League title that year.

After a campaign at Lenovo Tenerife, he returned to La Fonteta in the summer of 2018 with a first contract of two campaigns, which in 2020 he extended to another two with an agreement that made him one of the highest paid players in the squad.
