ANDl Valencia Basket confirmed this Monday that base Sam Van Rossom suffers a muscle injury that he described as “important” and, as Efe learned from various sources, he will be out for at least two months, although it is not ruled out that they will be more in the case that it needs to be operated on.
Van Rossom was injured in training with the Belgian national team and the tests he underwent on Monday “have confirmed that there is a significant muscle tear in the hamstring of his left leg,” according to the club.
Valencia Basket pointed out that Van Rossom “has begun his recovery with conservative treatment” and that “in a few weeks he will undergo new tests to reassess the situation.”
As Efe learned, that second evaluation in a few weeks will be the one that determines whether he can avoid the operating room or not. In any case, these same sources explained that the low period in the best of cases will be about two months.
