Spain has played 15 games in the retrospective of the Eurobasket against what will be its first three rivals this June in Valencia: Belarus, Slovakia and Sweden. Of those 15 games, they won 13 and lost only 2. The first against the Swedes and the second against the Slovaks, but this last defeat 26 years ago.

Curiously, in the 2015 Eurobasket, held in Hungary and which ended with Spain winning the bronze medal, the National Team faced all three: three games and three victories. The last one, over Belarus (74-58) earned him a podium finish.

The history of confrontations with Belarus is 6 matches. In addition to the four in Eurobasket, one in the 2010 World Cup (77-68 victory) and another friendly in 2014 in Minsk (82-81).

Against the Slovaks, Spain was also measured in the 1994 World Cup (defeat by 69-90). And against the Swedes the record is more complete: a total of 11 games, which include two friendlies and two in pre-Europeans, all of them settled with victory. The last, in 2019 in a friendly before the Eurobasket, especially overwhelming: 62-29 in Fuenlabrada.

In total, Spain has played 9 games against Belarus, Slovakia and Sweden with Lucas Mondelo as coach. And the balance could not be better: 9 out of 9.
