Proleta took his first steps in his career at KK Dubrovnik in his hometown and in 2013 he was signed by Real Madrid to be in the lower categories of the club, where he coincided with one of the current NBA stars Luka Doncic. In Madrid he won the Euroleague Next Generation, the most important competition in the U-18 category.
At the age of 18 he began his professional career in Spain, at the Óbila Club de Basket de Ávila of the LEB Plata in the 2016/2017 season, playing a total of 23 matches. The following year he returned to Croatia to play for KK Zagreb, where he averaged 12.1 points and 5.3 rebounds per game. The following season he signed for KK Zabok.
The following year, he went to USK Praha in the Czech league averaging 12.9 points and 3.3 rebounds per game. That same year he was international for Croatia in the European U-20. Last season he was at the Czech Turi Svitavy and in January he returned to USK Praha, where he averaged 14.1 points per game in 16 games, becoming the highest point average of his career.
This past August 2021, he joined Real Betis to reinforce the training of the Verdiblanco club. Now he faces a new challenge in Spain, this time in the LEB Oro and will try to help in the team’s inner game.
