ANDUrbas Fuenlabrada forward Marc García has suffered a fracture in his left knee that will leave him off the slopes for the remainder of the season, a serious setback for a team that is in the fight for salvation, although now it has two victories ahead on the relegation places.

Marc García’s injury is “a trabecular fracture without displacement of the tibial plateau of the left knee,” as detailed by the Madrid club, which is left without one of its best 3-point shooters for the decisive stretch of the season.

“Let’s hope it does not affect us, we are a team that we do not usually complain when these circumstances occur to us and it will not be different. We are going to play with the remaining players, who show our identity”, has valued the Fuenlabrada coach, Josep Maria Raventós.

The team from the south of the Community of Madrid, which has had to postpone its last two meetings against Morabanc Andorra and Retabet Bilbao due to an outbreak of coronavirus in the squad, will return to the track on Sunday at 6.30 p.m., when it will receive Real Madrid at the Fernando Martín.
