ANDhe American expivot Granville Waiters has died at the age of 60, as confirmed by Barça on their social networks on Tuesday.

Waiters played a season defending the Barça shirt, the 1988-89, in which he won the ACB League alongside players of the stature of Nacho Solozábal, Juan Antonio San Epifanio ‘Epi’ or Audie Norris. It was the League that Barça snatched from Real Madrid from Drazen Petrovic.

The following season, the center (2.13 m.) From Columbus (Ohio) played for Caja Bilbao. Before arriving in Spain, Granville Waiters had played five seasons in the NBA (Indiana Pacers, Houston Rockets and Chicago Bulls).
