Lithuania spoiled Spain’s three game friendly game winning streak, in Kaunas, Lithuania. Lithuania’s Men’s National Team proved to be strong going into the 2011 Eurobasket Championships by defeating one of the tournament favorites Spain. Just days ago, Spain clobbered Lithuania by over 20 points. Marc and Pau Gasol finished with 17 and 18 points respectively but the twin towers were not enough against Lithuania.

Spain was faced with a new situation at the half as they were down by 33-50. They were able to cut the little during the end of the 3rd but it was not enough. Lithuania was strong on both ends of the court. Spain will go up against Slovenia back in Málaga, Spain.
