The UNICAJA BANCO OVIEDO has reached an agreement for the incorporation of the interior of 2.03 high Sean McDonnell (Encinitas, California, United States, 09/13/1995) to the discipline of the OCB.
The American began his career at Big Bend Community College in the 2013-2014 season, although the following year he already started at the NAIA with Westmont College. In his last season with Westmont College he averaged 12.5 points and 7.8 rebounds. In the 2017-2018 season, he reached the EBA league with Club Basquet Cantaires de Tortosa where he averaged 17.2 points and 7.6 rebounds. The following season he signed for the Ciudad de Ponferrada Basketball Club where he reached 19.4 points per game and 7.6 rebounds, rising with the team to LEB Plata where the following season he averaged 16.8 points and 7.1 rebounds.
In 2020 Sean Mcdonnell joins the Palmer Alma Mediterranea Palma of LEB Oro where he averages 8.2 points, 3.8 rebounds and 0.8 assists on average per game in 30 games played during the regular season.
