Real Madrid Wins 2014 Kings Cup Title With Last Second Shot By Llull



Real Madrid captured its second Copa de Rey title in a row after a dramatic final last Sunday against a tough FC Barcelona. Barcelona led most of the game but the missed free throws gave Real Madrid a clear advantage especially down the stretch. After the half, the momentum went towards Real Madrid but the game was not won completely. The fourth quarter the score went back and forth and during the last 20 seconds Barcelona was up. During the final seconds Rudy Fernandez penetrated to the basket and passed the ball to Sergio Llull in the corner for a last second shot that would give Real Madrid the title.

Nikola Mirotic was named the MVP for the Copa de Rey.
