DEPT. COMMUNICATION CAMPUS PROMISES

Paula Estebas will continue to wear the CD Promete shirt for her 7th year. Linked to the history of the club since her childhood, she grew up in the training and semi-professional categories until, in the 2014-2015 season, she and the club reached the highest category of national women’s basketball together. She has completed all her campaigns as a professional at Campus Promete, with the exception of 2018-2019, being a relevant player for the team and for the club.

Estebas, last season, contributed his best scoring figures in the Endesa Women’s League, adding a total of 9.9 points per game in 26:23 minutes of play. In addition, he contributed a total of 2.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists, showing himself as a fundamental piece in the team led by César Aneas. The Rioja outsider played a total of 30 games, the same ones that the team played, thus showing herself as an example of perseverance.

The player from La Rioja has been very happy to continue for another year, and has said that “she is willing to contribute all her energy and experience.” For his part, César Aneas is satisfied with the renewal since “she is a player who grew a lot during the past season and has to be a very important piece on and off the court in the next season.”

David Martín, CEO of CD Promete, shows the club’s clear commitment to this renewal. “Delighted to open with the 9, with Paula, the communication of the squad for the next season” and declares the club’s commitment to “continue advancing to generate sports and game identity signs that are reflected in the quarry.”
