ANDl Baxi Manresa announced on Thursday a one-season agreement with the Serbian point guard, 25 years old and 1.96 meters tall, Vasilje Pusica, who will share the leadership of the Catalan team with Dani Pérez.

Pusica was trained in the quarry of Partizan Belgrade and also in college basketball in the United States. In 2013 he arrived at the Sunrise Christian Academy Institute and then made the leap to the NCAA (United States University League), first with the San Diego Toreros and later with the Northeastern Huskies.

After passing through the United States, he completed his first experience in professional basketball with Partizan. Later, he came to Italian basketball, where he has played the last two seasons, with Pesaro, first, and with Dinamo Sassari, last year.

Precisely in Sassari he also played the Champions League, the same competition that he will play this season with Baxi Manresa and in which he averages 4.5 points and 3 assists per game. In the Italian Lega, Pusica improved his performances (9.6 points and 2.4 assists per game).

Vsilje Pusica becomes Baxi Manresa’s sixth signing following the arrivals of forwards Joe Thomasson, Janis Berzins and Elias Valtonen, and power forwards Marcis Steinbergs and Chima Moneke.
