Juan Carlos Navarro put on his game face to help Spain defeat Greece 80-72. Navarro scored 22 points and during key moments of the game, he came up very big. Spain started the game well but during the second period let up a bit on defense. In the second half, Spain proved better, however Greece never gave up and fought until the end. Spain in the end, play well during the final minutes of the game and shot better from the floor.

Spain will now face Serbia, a team who they defeated in the friendly games by 20 previously. This will not be the same team, as Serbia is playing great in the World Championships.
