The 32nd Eurobasket of Spain
For Spain it will be its 32nd continental championship, in whose historic medal table it occupies the third position in the ranking, only surpassed by the extinct powers of the Soviet Union and Yugoslavia.
The history of the National Team in the EuroBasket starts with the first edition, in which it won its first medal, silver. After that initial success in 1935, the Civil War and the long postwar period marked a hiatus of more than two decades in which Spain did not participate in the competition again. But since the 1959 championship he has not missed the continental event even once.
In total he has played 241 games, of which he has won 152, and has won 13 medals, the last 6, consecutively in the last six editions.
