International in all the lower categories of the national team and a fundamental piece in the silver that was hung in the summer of 2014 in the U20 in the European Championship in Greece.
In August 2014 he signed with UCAM Murcia where he played for two seasons. After a stint at CB Clavijo, he returned to Murcia in 2019 and then returned to one of his training clubs, Real Canoe, where he has worked for the last two seasons.
During the last season at LEB Oro with Canoe, Martín registered 23.9 minutes of play and 6.1 points with a 55.1% accuracy in shots of two. Likewise, he distributed 5 assists per game and added 2.3 recoveries.
Héctor Galán’s assessment of Martín’s incorporation:
“We want to welcome Alberto, we are very happy that he joins the club and the first team in a position in which we are looking for a specific player profile to close the squad. It is coming on a temporary basis and we are going to see how it unfolds. It is an opportunity for him and for us because he is an experienced LEB Gold player who has performed really well in the past seasons and is going to help us from the start. Wish you all the luck in the world. We always talk about adaptation, he will have to adapt to the club, the coaching staff and his teammates but not to the league because he knows it and in which he has played at a high level ”.
